Icefrog has released a status update on the new version, letting everybody know that there will be a preview video being released soon to show everyone the new content.
Icefrog's new post has given everyone a bit of excitement about what's coming up in the new DotA version. He talks about how there will be a few new heroes coming into the game, as well as the balance fixes that usually come in every patch. People are hoping for the new heroes to be more like Kunkka, who is used competitively and not just used in publics because of being imbalanced.
With ESWC not far away, this may well could be the version for the tournament, so it is a very important version and with new heroes involved it will make the tournament a lot more exciting and could bring some big surprises. One of the new heroes already being mentioned is the Phoenix.
He has also stated that if there is anything we, as a community feel should be added, we should let him know through the proper channels.
